Hello! My name is Jeremy Sorbel, and I am the owner and operator of Local Lawn Care & Landscaping, LLC. I am a Marshall, MN native with two green thumbs for parents. My sister and I had a running joke that our lawn and landscape at home was like the third child — a very needy child that still required lots of love.
Taking care of lawns, gardens, and landscaping is something that comes natural to me, and is an interest I share with my family. My dad taught me to pay attention to detail and never walk by anything. My mom taught me how to take good care of things, like only a mother could. After honing my skills in my own backyard I decided to venture to the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities to get a degree in the field. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design and minors in both Architecture and Sustainability Studies. During college and after graduation I worked for a big box lawn care company for a few seasons and then went to work for a manufacturer of lawn care and golf course maintenance equipment. After starting the business in 2010, I’ve been servicing the Twin Cities metro area for seven years.
In January of 2017, I partnered with Healthy Grass of Bloomington to provide a superior service for my Twin Cities customers. This allowed me to move back to my hometown of Marshall, MN where I could be closer to my family and pay back the community that gave me the tools to help others. My goal is to provide a service that prides itself in quality over quantity. Our friendly, personalized service makes it seem less like a business transaction and more of a friend helping a friend scenario. You can trust us to help you with your lawn care or landscaping needs. Since family comes first, I’d like to thank my family for their support over the years and instilling values in me that I carry onto every property I serve. I’d also like to thank all of my customers for giving me the opportunity to work with them over the years and look forward to future opportunities.
